Passion Hit Me Like A Freight Train

And I don’t mean the good old kind, I mean the kind that makes you want to jump out of bed and start work, the kind where everything makes sense and clicks together, the kind where no matter you do, you can not be slowed down, stopped, unconvinced, or dissuaded. It hit. And everything came together.

I want to share Alaska with the world. I want to curate art from local for locals. I want to make tourist maps that spin tourist maps on their heads. Move over glossy photos of bears and old men fishing, a new sheriff is in town. Alaska is wild, and beautiful, and full of opportunities and little unique views and experiences. I want to share that with the world. I want people to look on their home with pride and share beautifully designed art with their loved ones.

Alright, I’m not sure if you’re understanding yet, so let’s work it backwards with Simon Sinek

Why - In everything we do, we believe in challenging the status quo, we believe in thinking, creating, and showcasing Alaska differently.

How -The way we challenge the status quo is by making products that are beautifully designed, accessible, and locally sourced.

What - and we just happen to make great art.

I want the world to see and love Alaska, and Alaskans to feel seen and loved…. for all the unique parts, not just the old men fishing and glossy bear photos.

And I cannot wait, I CANNOT WAIT TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
